Did you know that your body is bombarded with Deadly Toxins daily? Toxins have permeated our lives to such great extent. It is no longer possible to completely avoid exposure to all the harmful chemical compounds that surrounds us daily. We can find toxins in the air we breathe, in the water we drink, in the processed and non-organic food we eat, the finishes and furnishings in our home, and even down to the dye in the clothes we wear.
Today, it isn’t even practical to think that the body alone can keep pollutants and other chemical compounds to a minimum without help from us. We can help by periodically getting rid of toxins through a detoxification program. Detoxification through special cleansing practices may be the missing link to disease prevention.
One might wonder why it is important that we help our detox system when it can do the job itself. From the moment, we wake up until we go to bed, our body is constantly exposed to toxins. The question is no longer whether we are toxic, but rather, how do we get rid of these toxins?
To explain detoxification, I will answer three main questions, what, why and how.
WHAT
Detoxification defined, is the normal body processes of eliminating or neutralizing toxins through the colon, liver, kidneys, lungs, lymph, and skin. (Internal detoxification is one of our body’s most basic automatic functions). Detoxification is the journey to which helps us obtain and maintain optimal health; and the means in which the body’s own chemistry rids itself of unwanted toxins that has entered the intestines from various sources. (It is what our bodies does naturally)

WHY
Because detoxification is the first and most important step to a healthier and stronger immune system and body.
You should detoxify your body to cleanse – purify- and renew. With over 25,000 toxins in the environment today, and all the toxins that are in our food, water, clothes (dyes), cleaning and bath products, and all around us including materials found in our homes. Toxins bombard us from the time we get up, until the time we go to bed. (Our bodies are constantly exposed to toxins) and they work their way into our bodies faster than the body can eliminate them.
This process eventually leads to allergies and disease states in the body. With so many toxins entering the body at one time, our own detox system can become overwhelmed and no longer function properly. Thus, this leaves many toxins to remain in the body, stuffed safely away into our fat cells until their levels become dangerous. That is why we need to take steps to help our natural detox system rid these toxins from the body to elevate misdiagnoses (It just can be an allergies or reactions).
HOW
You can do so through a good detox program. There are many types of detox programs out in today’s market but finding the right program for you can be a challenge. You can find a detox program in a box, in bottle form, liquid detox programs, detox patches, colonics detox, enema detox, yoga detox, detox massages, detox exercises, detox bath soaks, and a host of other things at vitamin and health shops. For me, I strongly suggest juice fasting.
I found out that juice fasting was the best way to detox and support your natural detox system along with the digestive system. The digestive system works so closely with our detox system, we need to shut it down in order to get the best results from our detox program. By shutting down the digestive system (which is always working if you’re always eating), you give it a chance to rest and repair itself. So, when you start back eating it will work at optimal capacity.
