Cancer and Negative Emotions

Negative Emotions

Our Immune System is one of the most important systems in the body. It helps to protect us from foreign invaders, prevent sickness and disease, and rebuild what have be broken or torn down. Without it we would have to live in a bubble.

The immune system operates at the physical levels of the thymus, spleen, lymph, and bone marrow, but it is ruled by emotions. When your emotions are sound and stable it promote health through harmony and cooperation. On the other hand; when emotions are high it can promote sickness and disease states (dis-ease= the body is not at ease or not in harmony).

There are many factors that can weaken the immune system and most of them come from within. If you find yourself operating in one or more of these things on the following list, please find ways to correct them and seek professional help if you can’t do it on your own.

As we grow into adults, we have the tendency to recreate emotional environments that we have experience in the past or early home life. All these negative emotions are a poison that pollutes your spirit and rot you from the inside out; weakening your best line of defense, your immune system.

HABITS

  • Anger
  • Anxiety
  • Alcohol Drinking
  • Bitterness
  • Depression
  • Denial as a Coping strategy
  • Drugs
  • Fear
  • Grief
  • Hatred
  • Hopelessness/Sadness
  • Smoking
  • Stress
  • Unforgiveness

We know that Alcohol, Drugs, and Smoking are harmful to the body and they are habit forming; but just because a person participate in these things don’t always mean they will develop Cancer. (these are outside factors).  We must focus on those bad habits that destroy us from within (Anger, Fear, Stress, Unforgiveness, etc.).

We are triad beings consisting of the physical (body), the chemical (diet) & the mental (emotions). When one of these legs break the other two soon follow. All Dis-eases come from a state of unforgiveness (so the next time you feel ill, take time out and search your heart to see who it is that we need to forgive, either ourselves or others).

Namaste!
